The well-pleased nafs
Al-nafs al-rāḍiya — 'the well-pleased nafs'. Drawn from the adjective rāḍiyatan in Q 89:28; treated in the seven-station scheme as its own station, distinguished from muṭmaʾinna by the active acceptance of whatever God ordains. Sirhindī's letters describe rāḍiya as the stage at which the nafs finds its will entirely conformed to the divine decree (qaḍāʾ).
