Sirhindī, Maktūbāt (primary_canonical)
Sirhindī, Maktūbāt I.260 (First Daftar, Letter 260), discusses the Mujaddidi latāif and the nafs as it is refined through the stations. It is used here for the later Sufi mulhama formulation; the Qur'an itself does not present a seven-stage sequence under this name.
