Kūrchaśira is retained as a bilateral kurcha-head marma family and projected to a representative anatomical-right distal-limb anchor. Because later marma diagrams differ in whether the upper- and lower-limb counterparts are drawn separately, the wide radius and bilateral label make the editorial compression visible instead of implying one exact surface point.

The limb enumeration in Śārīrasthāna 6.6–8 (Acharya ed.) records Kūrchaśira as a paired snāyu-marma; later diagram traditions compress its upper- and lower-limb counterparts, which is why this entry retains a broad family-level radius.
