Tactile extension — distributed across the skin

The pneumatic extension of touch. Touch is the only sense the Stoics recognise as distributed over the entire skin rather than terminating at a discrete sense-organ — Diogenes Laertius VII.157 treats it as the diffuse case of the same pneuma-extension topology. There is no canonical single point for it; the whole-body skin is its terminus. For rendering we use the wrist-crease landmark as a representative bilateral proxy, with the explicit understanding that this is a visual stand-in for a faculty that has no privileged anatomical seat. A reader of the diagram should imagine the touch-pneuma as filling the entire silhouette.
