Generative extension — pubic region
The generative pneumatic extension. Diogenes Laertius VII.157 lists this last among the eight parts of the soul; semen, in Stoic physiology, is pneuma carrying a portion of the parents' rational structure (logos spermatikos) into the new body. This is a doctrinally important point: it shows that Stoic 'soul' is not a separate immaterial substance but a state of refined breath, transmissible by physical generation. We render the point at the pubic-bone landmark, the canonical location for the generative terminus on a clothed silhouette.
