Spine-axis upper gate
Neckward rise
This upper waypoint completes the trunk portion of the reconstructed ascent before attention reaches the hugr locus. Eddic seiðr references establish the ritual vocabulary and visionary register, but neither the poems nor later scholarship gives this neckward coordinate as a fixed Norse body location.

Poetic Edda (primary_canonical)
Vǫluspá sts. 22 and 28–29 present the seeress's seiðr identity and her exchange with Óðinn. The upper-gate coordinate is a modern visual waypoint derived from this visionary register, not a fixed Eddic body location.
