Hugr is the Old Norse mind or thought faculty, and Norse narratives allow mind or personal doubles to travel or appear beyond the ordinary body. This file places the travel locus between the eyebrows because the requested front-view map needs a legible focus; that brow placement is a modern reconstruction and is not claimed as an Old Norse anatomical teaching.

Gylfaginning ch. 9 gives the first humans cognitive and sensory gifts and places Odin's seeing at Hliðskjálf; it does not describe a brow-located hugr. The citation therefore documents the mythic language of mind and perception, while the brow marker remains an explicit modern reconstruction.
