The released potency of heka

Ȝḫw — effective / radiant power. Closely related to but distinct from heka: where heka names the cosmic principle and force of authoritative speech, akhu names its effective release into the world. A spell well-spoken becomes ȝḫ — radiant and effective; the deceased who has fully passed through judgment and ritual becomes an ȝḫ, a luminous-effective being. Located at the upper chest / breath-region as the radiant outflow that follows utterance; Ritner (1993) is the principal modern philological discussion.
