Central chest target
The heart or precordial region is a named central-chest target in the kata-era self-defence vocabulary. The point is projected to the midline of the front-view chest, although the kata texts describe the target anatomically and do not define normalized coordinates. It is marked as a high-risk region for historical study, not as an instruction to strike.
