Sternum tip

Xiphoid / lower sternum target

Sternum tip denotes the lower end of the breastbone at the chest-to-upper-abdomen transition. It is a midline target in the compact set, with a widened radius because the teaching name covers the xiphoid and immediately adjacent epigastric area.
