Playful emergence after trance

Erê marks the childlike, playful expression that ethnographers describe in relation to Candomblé possession and the return from an orixá state. Its navel placement is only an iconic centre for embodied transition; erê is not a second organ, and it is not the same spirit category as a Haitian lwa.
